The Neurocognitive Computing Lab heads to Telluride
20 Feb 2025We’re excited to share that two lab members/affiliates, Nicole Dumont and Michael Furlong, are organizing topic areas for the 2025 Telluride Neuromorphic Cognition Engineering Workshop.
Nicole will co-lead the Language and Thought topic with Steve Abreu from the University of Groningen. This group will explore how neuromorphic principles can enhance foundation models by improving efficiency, robustness, and reasoning capabilities. Meanwhile, Michael will co-lead Neural Perception and Control, focusing on neuro-inspired approaches to perception, planning, and control loops in robotics. The 2025 Telluride Workshop will take place from June 29 to July 19, 2025, with participant applications open until March 10. If you’re interested in these topics, we encourage you to apply!
